sample answer: I am able to see the skyline/city quite clearly in Photo C. I can even see the characters and numbers on the billboard. However in Photo D, the skyline has disappeared and I can not longer make out the numbers on the billboard. The visibility in Photo D is a lot lower than that in Photo C.

2nd Qn:
sample answer: There is a lot more dust and smoke particles in the atmosphere in Photo D. This condition created a very hazy atmosphere and affected the visibility.

3rd Qn:
The answer can be found in the passage - "I can say that during the day that I took photo D, the air made walking around rather difficult."
I cannot understand why some students left this question unanswered.
Also, please read the question carefully. I was asking about the tourist (who wrote the journal) and not about tourism industry.

Answer can be lifted directly from para 2, so there's absolutely no reason why anyone should leave this question out.
sample answer: There was a very dense fog and the visibility fell to below 50m. After 8pm, the runway visual range improved to 1000m but fell again to 125m at 9am.

2nd Qn:
sample answer: Four flights were cancelled, one was diverted and two flights were combined. Some had to hover in the air for hours.

3rd Qn:
The focus of this question is on the passengers (what happened to them because of the fog), and not what was done for them. "airline officials said they had sent SMSes" is not a valid answer.
sample answer: The passengers protested, and others were made to wait for hours without food or drink in the aircraft. Passengers whose flight were cancelled or diverted, were late in their schedule (inferred).

The focus is on solving the problem of annual forest fire, not solving health problems or how people can cope with the haze. Be careful when reading the question.
sample answer: Have more volunteers to patrol the forest, have stronger enforcement of the law which ban land-clearing by fire, educate the locals on alternative ways of clearing forest, create new jobs and housing arrangments so that people do not have to cultivate their crop in the forested areas.
