Well, think of the sky as a huge container. Rain will come only when this 'container' is filled up (with water vapour) and overflows, right?
In the drier regions, the 'container' is almost empty and it will take a whole lot of water vapour to fill it up. And that usually never happens in dry places.
global warming is a thing that is happening around the world...if the people on earth wont take drastic measures about global warming....the earth will be a terrible place for the next generations of babies...the weather will be very hot and it could easily cause heat waves, typhoons and many m0re.
We can help my going green and helping the world in doing my part.. i am now trying to go green by recycling at home.
And also if The sea level will rise...there will be a high risk that singapore will be flooded and disappear in a few years time
I've always wondered why it's bad when the ice glaciers melt. Yeah, there won't be any white left to reflect the sun's rays but that can be easily re-created, artifically, right?
And also, when the sea level increases because of the glaciers melting and the sun's heat is becoming more intense, wouldn't that hasten the evaporation proccess? So both the bad sides will go against each other, thus nulling the effect of both, no?
Sha: I actually agree with you. Who knows when 'the end' will come. =(
Khai: I don't think it's easy to create an artificial reflector. And anyway, it's more than just reflection of light. We're talking about its impact on earth too.
:D It'll be easier for me if you had posted your comments at the right post - Common Test. Anyway, I've mentioned this before. Treat the supplementary exercises seriously because they are meant to prepare you for the CT1. So yah, they're kinda like a mock test already. The CT is tough because the questions test you on the application of knowledge.
This blogsite was set up primarily for my current Geography students @ West Spring Secondary School.
Please leave your name and class after all your comments, esp. if you'd like me to respond.

I'm really curious to this.

Hi Mdm Lee,
is it possible for you to give us a mock paper, so we will be more prepared, and we can expect what will come out during our CT1?
uh, i mean mock paper for us to try it ourselves. Sorry for sounding demanding ><
:D
